Who We Are!

Voice of Bungoma CSOs Network  is a Consortia of Civil Society Organizations { CSOs } working  in Bungoma County from all the 9 Sub Counties  .  The Network has a membership of over 75 CSOs operating in Bungoma County .

VOB  also Works with both International NGO’s, local NGO’s,  Foundations , Societies , Trusts , CBO’s, FBO’s and Self Help Groups   who work in Bungoma  to complement both County and National Government efforts as duty bearers. The Network is anchored on the PBO Act  of 2013 and the Kenya Constitution  as the Guiding law .

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  1. To catalyze membership and citizen based public policy advocacy, organizational strengthening and leadership development
  2. To complement the primary duty of the County and National government by facilitating public oversight and the delivery of essential public services
  3. To contribute with other PBO Networks and the envisaged PBO Authority and federation to build a sector that is competent and effective
  4. To do all and everything necessary, suitable and proper for the accomplishment of the purpose or the furtherance of the objectives herein before set forth, either in alone or in association with other Organizations, firms, corporations or individuals and to do any other act of or connected with the objectives or purposes or any part or parts hereof provided the same is not inconsistent with the Laws, Rules and Regulations under which the organization is registered
